Hybrid, lizard, snake, or maybe just one of the last members of an old forgotten race. None of that, but the avatar of the great reptilian goddess of the exotic lands sent by the gods to help and protect the last living egg, symbol of hope and life.
Sneaking like a snake all around the golden city, she carries a golden and magical mask to summon divine powers, an enchanted staff imbued by the magic of the sun to fight and dazzle the darkness, and deadly blades to stab the hearts of unlucky ennemies.
As soon as the task will be completed, which means the egg to hatch out, the avatar will disappear as fast as he came. Only existing and living to achieve the holy mission, the egg must be protected at any cost, and the world must be saved.

Here's the new look of my sylvari thief. With the release of the new white mantle mask I was really inspired to make a new look with it. The mask reminds me of the face of an exotic divinity kind of (aztec, maya, inca ... this kind of stuff), so I tried to create my version of an exotic goddess around it. Also I had the idea to make a kind of reptilian god and tried to reflect that with the skin (color and patterns). I used the claw gloves and the pointed boots to look more like a creature and fit the pointed mask. For the colors I went for a mix of golden, green and orange to reflect the exotic side. Finally, fitting weapons and backpiece and here she is ! Hope you like her ! ^-^

 Migg Fashionista | Nice armor combination, I like that you used that helm piece because it makes her unique. If I had to change something it would be the boots, but thats my personal opinion, it fits nice in this look. The dyes are amazing, they all fit with the weapons and backpack and don't feel like forced dyes, it's so natural :) Her skin with those darker parts look amazing with this armor. The screenshots are very good done but there's just one that shows her from behind, I guess that it would be fine to put always at least one in the character selection with and/or without helm. Also that in only one screenshot we can see the boots completly, but that's not like a big problem. __ Oh by the way, I prefer it with helm :) Good job! |

The palette really looks like reptilien skin colour :D Her skin pattern also underlines the reptilien idea very well! On top of that its so cool that you made this backpack work! Not a look I would personally use xD I think you should have not used that backpack there, that's my only gripe. It doesn't fit at all except in dyes. The lanterns and bamboo and monkey looks so canthan. Imo she doesn't need a backpiece, the armor and weps are well-rounded as is :) It's a VERY creative and original look, just the sort I love to find on this site. Love how you take risks like this. Your sylvari looks perfect with her bark pattern all reptilian like. |

Might not be everyone's taste aswell. I can understand. Especially for a "weird" and risky (just like Beckie said :p) look like that. And also some people tend to hate on your looks when you say something they don't like just once. Fanatics, hypocrites and haters. But I don't really care. And I'm proud that I never come up with generic looks of basic looks that will please everyone just to get golds. I don't want to seem too proud but fck at least I can say I have my own style. Also I got really tired of this website and some people. I really think I'm gonna stop uploading here. There are 3 last looks I really wanted to upload but I'm not even sure I will take the time to do it. Feels like a waste of time and energy to me now. The website is not what it was anymore. And I think it's time for me to stop ! ^^ |

But I think it still fits as she is supposed to be an exotic goddess (aztec/maya inspired it's true but also indian inspired kind of ! ^^) and it looks very exotic. But anyway there was no better options imo. And the bamboos add the nice natural touch to go with the shoulders I think! |

I know it might be frustrating at first and it would be at least nice if those people would explain their rating but there are haters and trolls out there and always were, even when the site was a little bit more active. The problem right now is that not many are taking their time in rating and commenting new looks properly and that those active members, who uploaded many things in the past, are more or less inactive. I think one not so successful look shouldn't bring you down so easily! So much for a little motivation- speech at the beginning. And now to the look! Again, you provided us with some very beautiful and amazing screens and I really like the different places and how you managed to take some wonderful action shots since thiefs have the most amazing motions in game! I love the dyes you took it's very reptileish and the Golden Lion- dye is a nice statement and gives me a royal feeling. Your armour mix is actually all right, the pieces go pretty well together but I have to be honest with you that I am a liiiittle bit disappointed by a few choices. Looking at your theme I think you could have went a little bit further with this one by creating a more reptile- like look. The Emblazoned Pants for example have an amazing texture that reminds me of a Iguana or a snake and I would have chosen some different shoulders over here. Usually I am not too fond of the crown but I fully understand your choice since it's a more otherworldy looking crown and it fits the reptile queen quite well! What I love is that you payed attention on her skin tone and the skin texture here and it looks really wonderful on her. Overall I really love the presentation and the idea is a very cool and I hope that you are not angry with me that I disagree with some of your armour choices :/ |

 thunderstruck Fashion Guru | I will once again risk being torn to pieces by flaming supporters by trying to give a fair review I feel every one here deserves no matter how "famous" he or she is I think this is a nice look, but I do get the feeling that isn't as creative or as true to its set theme as it could be Apart from the headpiece I do actually feel that the armour mix is a little common For this being a somewhat reptilian inspired look the only armour pieces that really convey that are for me the helmet and the claw like gloves Not saying that the restate doesn't look good (it certainly does), but Whisperer Coat and Bladed leggings also don't strike me as either the most reptilian or unseen mix ever I faintly recall there being some more "scaly" looking skins that might have served your purpose better On the plus side though I do like that you left a little skin bare to show a very fitting body patreen The dyes are really fitting and a nice mix of different hues Reading that you wanna quit the site is saddening as it does feel a little like giving up; it seems like the mindset that has infected this site (famous fashionstas are famous for a reason and therefore get a gold by default) also caught some of the best stylists here as well I would consider taking in some feedback, no matter where it might come from and at least give it a second thought instead of always thinking one is above someone else Maybe it's not the "otherness " of this look (that I personally don't really even see in the mix of armour) but something else? Maybe this look is simply not one of your strongest and that''s why it received fewer votes? Everyone has a slightly worse look once in a while, no reason to just give up I see a lot of new people coming to the site lately actally, maybe giving a little back, giving them advise and comments would help changing what bothersy ou about the site You definitely still know how to present a look well, as your screens and presentation are flawless as always, but I would wish to see famous stylists not always sitting on a kind of high horse and that demeanor wasn't actually part of how I perceived you originally I wrote this comment to maybe function like smth of a wakeup call, not in the intention to drag any look through the dirt and I hope that you will give me a fair response (if you don't want to give any it's fine as well) It would just be nice if the famous stylists here could drop a little of their entitlement and accept that their looks re as rateable as everyone else's And before I shredded about unfair ratings again, I did rate this gold as I still feel it's a round overall upload, but it does have a few flaws imho |

Acethyle Fashion Guru | Changing shoulders and pants would hide the skin pattern that makes her unique imo. Even with the scaly pants you mentioned. I tried ingame and it looks even less reptilian to me. It seems to me like she wears a coat but is naked underneath with those pants. I find it weird. So I chose those shoulders and pants skins because I think they were the best options to fit with the overall armor, and also let the skin pattern apparent. I must say the reptilian theme was just a "last minute" idea I had. When I was done with the look I found the skin pattern to have this reptilian feel and decide to sell her as a reptilian to make her more special. And I made my story around that. I think this was just a mistake and I should have stayed which my main idea that she was just an exotic goddess (aztec, inca and maya inspired). So I understand that you find the armor mix to not be reptilian enough, you're totally right, it wasn't my goal when I created the look, and it doesn't go further than just the skin pattern. Somethint that I don't agree with is to say the armor mix is common. I never saw something similar, or at least that I'm aware of. |
