Desert Mystic

A mysterious resident of the Crystal Desert, this nomadic mystic is often seen dancing under the moon practicing her various magics while attuning to her surroundings.
Her motion while weaving her spells together are reminiscent of the ebb and flow of the Unending Ocean, leaving some to speculate she is a student of the Djinn, but one has yet to confirm this to be true.
She is not often seen in towns or markets and seems to prefer the solitude of shorelines and cliff-tops, allowing for concentration while channeling the elements.

I have been wanting to use the Jade Tech vest for a character since I saw it but it took me a minute to figure it out. Nightfall and the Crystal Desert lore will forever be my favourite, so once again I created a look around it. I was trying to aim for something appropriate for desert climates while retaining some mystery and elegance, which suits the Weaver spec very well, imo.

TheKimmynator Fashion Guru | That sounds fun, of course! The newer maps from the expansions have great lighting imo. All the desert maps have great locations, but to name a few; -Desert Highlands, the lower parts of the map have a lot of sunlight during daytime, great for showing off mid/close-ups and a clear full-body screenshot. (south-west corner is where I took the water screenshots) -Elon Riverlands, has nice open desert stretches. --- -The Dead End, a bar instance in Divinity's Reach (Eastern Commons section) Has that hearth which gives really moody lighting. -The Silverwastes, with mounts you can get up on the rocks to overlook the map and not be bothered by enemies when taking screenshots. -Bjora Marches, around Jora's Keep gives great dark winter atmosphere, can definitely explore the rest for good spots. Also be sure to play a lot of medium/close-ups and wide shots, gives a nice view of the character and the armor details. :) |
