Expeditions and operations in war-torn Elonia brought to light many secrets buried in the nations deserts. One discovery was of particular interest to the Priory; the Sunspears developed a method of disrupting and reflecting magic. After Elonia was brought back to relative stability, members of the Priory returned to Tyria with Sunspear Emissaries in tow. Together the Pact members worked to refine the Elonians' knowledge of spellbreaking into something that would be of even greater impact in future conflicts.

Originally the Priory hoped to use the Sunspears' techniques to free the souls of the Ascalonions tormented by the Foefire. Attempts to do so were unfortunately unsuccessful; however, they did make an interesting discovery. The persistent curse of the Foefire Heart could not be broken, but the magical essence could be disrupted enough to be reformed and captured in small amounts, at least temporarily.

Using this discovery, the Pact developed an experimental suit of armor that could harness the stolen Foefire essence. The suit allowed its wearer to perform great feats of strength and shape the captured magic into weapons to be wielded in combat. The magic in the armor is volatile and wishes to return to the Foefire Heart. It constantly roils within the suit and can be seen seeping out of the armor's plates in a fiery blue mist. As the power within the suit is used, the expended energy returns to the Heart that still sits in Ascalon.

While Ascalonians live on in Kryta, their ancestors still live in undeath across the walls and plains of their homeland. The Priory discovered that the ancestral tie to the Foefire Heart proved to enhance the efficiency of their new prototype armor. The energy stores that originally only allowed for several hours of operation from other users, instead proved to last for days when the wearer was from strong Ascalonian descent.

Wielding the broken swords of their forefathers as daggers, much like the Sunspears' reforged spears, the Ascalonian Spellhearts have become a force to be reckoned with among the Pact military. The thunder of their armored boots is a terror to any spellcaster in their sights, second only to their battlecry: "The Northern Wall still stands!"

Your story is really top! Your screens feel the purpose, but stylish they are not (and especially very small!). So try to change the camera settings in the options (F11), zoom your character, position it left and right, etc. And now for the armour mix: You didn't really bother and just mixed Etherbound with Phalanx armour.... It fits your story, but it's not really creative. It would be much more interesting to find a leg armour from another set for the Etherbound chest armour that fits perfectly, just like the shoes and the hand armour. Something like that is okay, but nothing more: therefore only silver from me.

The phalanx pieces are definitely filler, at least the boots. Most of what I'd want for that "full plate" look is locked behind a grind. Working on it though!

I'm working towards the Warlord's Boots or Gloves, I'm not sure which until I get the reward track done lol. I'm also eyeing the Carapace Leggings. It has a similar plate to trim balance, but the lack of energy wisps on the legs feels a bit unbalanced to me.

Ok, good luck! I'm looking forward to seeing how this looks in the end (and other looks, of course)
