I was actually visiting family away from my PC for most of the Halloween event, so I missed out on some great Halloween-themed backdrops for my witch.. it's so incredibly late, but I love the outfit itself and wanted to share! I hope everyone had a great Halloween in real life and on GW2!

My Elementalist's costume this year is a branded witch. I chose this particularly because of the storyline and new areas that explore Kralkatorrik's Dragonbrand/new branded foe. Most of the screenshots were taken in the branded areas of the Crystal Desert for this reason! Purple/black is also a really nice, niche Halloween color combo, and last year I used the typical orange/black so I wanted something different.

Her story is something along the lines of a very powerful elementalist who succumbs to the Dragonbrand, turning into a more twisted and crystalline corrupted version of herself. Her hands are bone, and the "jewels" are bright, purple eyes meant to symbolize Kralkatorrik's gaze in her. Her primary element is electricity, and her naturally greyed hair/face/eyes fit with the distinctive stone-like attributes of Kralkatorrik's minions. One of the screenshots show her facing Tequatl, a suggestion of inter-elder-dragon conflict and strife for power.

If I have the time, I'll have a segment of screenshots about her reclaiming her inner virtue via defeating the Shatterer, but I missed the event for now. Regardless, I hope you enjoy my little Halloween headcanon and design!

The dagger is Forged Dagger, can't find it on item search.

Hi, I really like your frayed textures in this look- particularly the flame legion pants. The mantle also does a great job of distracting from the lack of hair. I like her as some sort of dark witch, even without the branded theme. Gold :)

For an overall theme that is kinda "done" you definitely managed to breathe some new life into it
The armour mix is really neat thanks to the legs and feels original and the dyes are a dark look perfectly done: not drenched in Shadow Abyss, but with little specks of colour
Presentation is also very well made! I thought this would be a boring meta Halloween look and it really wasn´t, gold from me!

Thank you both! I really wanted to avoid a lot of the overdone Halloween styles--shadow abyss/black, bloodstone eyes, things like that, so I'm glad my hours of armor matching paid off! I'm surprised these legs aren't overused, because I absolutely love them. I also completely forgot that I bought the witch broom and to take pictures with it, oh well. Thanks again for the golds!
