This is my first time I have ever tried dressing my ranger in anything other than neon-blue Firstborn armour. I didn't quite manage to escape the cultural armour but then I do love the lore of Sylvari growing their clothes out of leaves. Also trench coats :(
Mood board: Thorns, frost on trees in winter, and the texture of bark. I have focused a lot on the various textures in this outfit but I am worried it might be a bit too murky and uninteresting.
My character is meant to be a solitary explorer (not Commander of the Pact!) and I envision that she was slightly influenced by the corruption of Nightmare court whilst in the dream.
Please note I have cropped my screenshots down to what I find visually pleasing. I'm really not very experienced at creating stunning vistas like are usually found on this site!

 Hylek Fashionista | Very nice first upload imo! I like the armor-comb, especially the use of these pants! The colours are nicely subtle, though i fell like some highlights could make it a bit more interesting. The weapons you chose fit your outfit perfectly and you made some really nice screenshots! Also ... cropping the screens to erase ugly parts is absolutely legit! ;D Overall i think theres room for improvement (especially colour-wise), but its a great first upload! So id like to give you a Gold for that :) |

The earthy feel sits well with me, even though I agree with Hylek that there could be a little highlighting somewhere, but overall it´s a cool dye scheme And your screens are amazing for a first upload!
