A lot of time and love went into this one. Solid black with neon green accents and a touch of red (optional). Strong contrast makes it pop while a clean silhouette keeps it simple and easy to read. My initial goal was to obscure when he was in deathshroud by making him look shrouded all the time, without becoming a boring monotone character.

I like the first picture but the bad thing about using very dark dyes is that those destroy the textures of the armor. Did you try it with Black Dye? that one would still be dark :)

Mmmmm... before voting, you could explain why the choice of red for the scarf?

@ Migg, wiping out the details to make a pure black silhouette was my goal from the start. I picked armors that got the deepest black with abyss (shadow dyes didnt exist at the time) for that reason.
@Cambeleg I've tried a whole rainbow of variants and the dark red with the black, white, and green is the complimentary accent-to-the-accent that I keep coming back to. It also matches the handle of several king toad weapons.

I understand the reason why you made him all black, but that doesn´t mean I really like it :/
I am just not a fan of these solid black looks as it eliminates all the armour details and textures and personally, I just don´t find this compelling
Using a red scarf when you were aiming for a death shroud look feels a bit inconsistent to me
The armour mix in itself is really great and I like the combination of hair and mask a lot, so it´d be great if you consider the feedback and try around with the look a bit more ^^

He's face just look like a green version of my necromancer ! :o
Well I love his cute face, and the green hair too, it's really good. But the mix itself isn't really my thing, too black, a red scarf that looks a bit off.
Screens would deserved more attention too.

I get your point, and it's why I asked. But as others said, and I already was thinking, this red tones -specially being so dark- make the scarf to disappear into the look. I had issues finding the scarf, being honest. For giving it more presence, I would use a color with more bright, but not making it too shinny.

Apart of this, I would add some color to some details in the pieces too. Being too monochrome (and I had this issue when making my Darth Slyce versions, too), you risk to miss consistence in the concept.

Silver for now, 'cos I see a good potential on the idea.

I actually have the shoulder scarf turned off entirely for all but one of the screenshots since it's a nice accent but covers his "heart". I might get around to adding some other screenshots in better lighting.
Thanks mate o/
