This is my warrior, he took me a long time to set up and I am extremely proud of him!

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!

Thanks.

You see the thing is, with posts like these the majority will think that it looks very impressive. Given that you want to ask yourself why? I think it's because the pieces you show are symbol to the fact that they are hard to obtain in-game items. This will go at the expense of actually presenting a 'stylish look'. last thing to add is it's hard to discuss these sort of things because it's a subjective matter.

I completely agree, in saying that though, can you think of a some better fitting armor that isn't ascended? I've been over the wardrobe dozens and dozens of times and can't seem to improve it any more. Thanks for the comments too people!

You could try harder on the armor mix but it's still a very well rounded look so I don't agree with Uthae on not being stylish. It's stylish but not very original.
There are a lot of armor sets that could work with the theme you have in mind. Maybe you should try again and start with shoulders, gloves and boots.

May I ask why start with shoulders, gloves and boots? Whenever I make armor sets I start with either chest or legs. Thanks for the help!

Giving the theme you went with and my lack of knowledge on how heavy armor looks on male humans, I can't really give you any advice on that. The only thing you might consider is the power of simplicity! That's up to you on how to interpret that ofcurz ;-)

I agree with Uthae, both Ascended armor and Legendary weapons tend to have the most impressive feel it them.

I also agree on starting with shoulders, gloves and boots and the reason is very simple. Chest and leggings tend to blend PERFECTLY. One can so easily see they's the same set. Shoulders, gloves and boots do not often have that, so it's easier to mix and match those.

Of course it's entirely up to you, and I do think your Warrior is stylish, but this look is one out of many. Very common on both human and Charr actually.

Oh I see, that makes a lot of sense now!

Thankyou for the advice everyone!

He looks like archlight varus =) Awesome, maybe mix and match some parts, so your armor looks a tad more unique.
