Vick Stylist | Your armor set is really nice. I don't think you need to change dyes at all, but if you're looking for various blues to try, one of the best dye resources out there is this dye code list:http://carsen.dreamhosters.com/game/gw2/dye.htm Honestly, matching dyes with weapon particle effects is difficult, because the effects are typically not solid colors. The best thing you can do is keep previewing as many blues as you can stand until you find one that you like. I think the Light of Dwayna works better with your armor set. I think it's a nice focal point, and I don't think it'll actually enhance your look if it doesn't match your weapons. |

guardian707 Trendspotter | Great look. I actually ran this with some banded mixed in for a while. What you might do with the dyes, is to make your armor set more neutrally metallic colored and just subtly compliment your chosen weapons/back piece. Its like how straight up abyss looks good with just about everything, even though you could go midnight fire or ice to compliment fiery or ghastly set weapons. I'm with you on ghastly set sort of being one of those 'one off' weapon sets. The Dwayna wings look better for more of the time than the dragon wings. Only thing I might ask is, do you really need your shoulders shown? If you want more subtle shoulder pieces, priory makes an interesting, but not overly conspicuous choice. There are other less obvious but still flattering shoulder pieces, but on my characters, I prefer hiding them. |
