After awakening from the dream, Gethaney spent many of her first few years outside the Grove and Forest. Constantly surrounded by humans and Norn, and sometimes even Charr and Asura, she felt like an outsider. For many years she adopted the local dress customs so she felt like she fit in better. However, after the abuse suffered by the Sylvari, not only from Mordremoth but also from the other races she thought were friends, Gethaney wanted to declare herself as Sylvari with every step she took, every evil she vanquished. So she went to the Grove and acquired clothing similar in look to the Sylvari who called the Grove their home.

Gethaney, my main since I got the game a few months after launch. I had to take some pictures after completing Yggdrasil. Iron Marches is a beautiful place to take pictures. Colors inspired by this look: http://gw2style.com/look.php?id=11260

Edit: I could not find Yggdrasil in the drop down box for parts.

I really like the dyes, they look colorfull, but not too bright for my taste :)
I'm just not a fan of mawdrey here. It stands out too much, since the colors aren't anywhere else in the look. And I would probably go without the hat.
Overall it's a really nice sylvari outfit and I like your story. One should always be proud to be sylvari :)
It's silver from me.

Thank you for your comments. Yes, I really want the luminate's backplate for this look (but holy moly, making all the auric weapons). I only recently got Mawdrey and am still rather in love with it for now. The helm issue. Well it just sucks for medium armor wearers. And I hate the hair I chose for her at creation. I've got a makeover kit but every time I try to find a fit for her, I can't find what I feel is right. So the helm is the least bad alternative :)

Dahleena, I'm glad you are pleased. I was worried you'd feel copied.
