Pariah Axisdirge

Originally a member of the Axis warband, Pariah Axisdirge was lost in combat against the Molten Alliance. Originally a member of the Axis warband, Pariah Axisdirge was the only survivor of a Molten Alliance attack. A point in reality diverged during the events Scarlet Briar put into motion. In our reality, he died. In his, he became gladium.

A copy of Pariah's reality was stumbled upon during a Fractals of the Mist excursion by Elan Axisaver, thief of the Axis warband. With the coordinates of this splinter of alternate reality in hand, he sought out assistance from Vepp, a close Asuran contact. Mad scientist, genius, tinkerer of technomagical augmentation and stabilization devices. Using her knowledge, she fashioned the mist harness; a suit of armor that would allow a fractal entity to transplant into another reality, and, over time, gradually stabilize and anchor its form there.

With the mist harness in tow, Elan Axisaver reentered the fractal, aiming to stabilize his lost brother and return Pariah Axisdirge to a world where he would no longer be memory. While expressed in the fractals, Pariah was but a temporary thing on infinite loop with an illusion of sentience. With the harness, however, he could reclaim his physical reality in the world we know as reality. Should it work, however, would the thing that was Pariah Axisdirge be him, or simply a copy of a dead man convinced of the authenticity of his own identity?

Would being a copy be enough?
