Scoria Deadflame, is a recently made charr elementalist that has been sitting in my mind as a character that I've always wanted to make!!

She is the granddaughter of a very powerful Flame Legion Shaman who used her mother (his daughter) as a pawn to spy on the Blood Legion for years. Her mother was eventually able to confess the truth and was brave enough to defy her father with the help of her mate (a Blood Legionnaire she fell in love with while spying) and his warband, the Death warband. However, Scoria's grandfather would go on to curse a young Scoria as a means to obtain his revenge. He had planned on transforming her into a new kind of Effigy, one that used magic obtained from the Elder Dragon, Primordus. However, with the assistance of a renegade, excommunicated, Flame Legion Shaman, her curse was contained within her front paws. This sealing ritual, however, cost the life of Scoria's mother. Distraught, Scoria's father abandoned his warband in order to hunt down and kill Scoria's grandfather. He was never seen, or heard from, again. As the years passed, Scoria was able to channel the magic stored within the seals to create powerful fire spells that she now uses to hunt down, and kill, Flame Legion scum as revenge for her mother's death.

As you can plainly see, I did just make up a bunch of nonsense in order for my charr elementalist to wear the Fused Gauntlets! xD
I do have to say that I've always loved these gloves, but I was never able to play out a good outfit that would make sense for a character to wear them. They look freaking cool, but their so outlandish to me, that I just couldn't make heads or tails on what kind of character would wear them.
I didn't want to pull a Canach and just have a character wear them because they defeated a Molten Alliance base, so I eventually came up with the Flame Legion curse concept. Because we are dealing with those sorcerous louts, I wanted the outfit to have a shamanistic feel to it. The T3 Light top and Arah leggings pull this off very well if I have to say so myself. They were dyed black and orange to match the gauntlets, but to also aloud to the Flame Legion connections that Scoria shares.
The white-gold pieces (ironically not dyed White Gold) are ornaments Scoria uses to push the notion that the Flame Legion is incapable of bending and breaking even the weakest of metals. Granted the shaman that sealed the curse with golden bars did so for a different reason I haven't really formed myself... I'm thinking that he used them because they were magically imbued/were easier to channel magic with, but that may be too simple...

Either way, I really enjoyed making this character, and coming up with a back story fit enough for her epic gauntlets! I hope you guys like her! :D

One of the most interesting backgrounds I've ever read. I very much enjoy your designs. Keep 'em coming!
Only thing I'd switch out would be the shoulders. They look a bit too ornate here. Almost out of place for their almost plate-like surface.

I I really like the short-sleeves on the shirt! It kinda makes it look a bit like a armour-dress! ^_^
