Master of the Forge

Alastor Durga-Dol spent the majority of his youth in a small mining village in Kryta. The camp was plagued by pirates that were kept marginally in check by his father's armed union. That is, until the Fire Legion-backed Thumba, an industrialist, decimated the village to steal its resources. The village was presumed dead, and Alastor's eyes were blinded. He was found by the Arch Build-Master of the Elds, a clan of masons who not only specialized in metal- and holosmithing but also in the arts of alchemy, electromagnetism, gravity, and spiritual metaphysics, being able to craft massive weapons and arsenals from mere prime and raw materials of nearly any sort. After mastering the fundamental forces of the standard model of physics -- and then metaphysics -- Alastor joined the Elds in traveling the world to investigate a recent breakdown of the spectral order.
