Ascended Paladin

Bit of backstory: As a kid my favorite games were point and click adventures, and my favorite of those were the Quest for Glory games by Sierra. In those games, one of the main characters was a Liontaur Paladin named Rakeesh (think a Centaur, but with the lower body and head of a Lion). He wielded a flaming sword and upheld his code of honor at all costs, and he was a major inspiration for my GW2 main character. He may be a Warrior in game, but he is a Paladin at heart.

As for this transmog, I've been trying to make The Ascension look good on a Charr since I got it, and I think I finally nailed it. Perseverance dye is a perfect match for the gold on the wings, and Etherbound weapons/gloves/boots compliment the aura from both the backpiece and the trinkets nicely. The rest of the armor is Charr Cultural (plus the eyepatch which I will probably never remove from this character) so I think it strikes a nice balance between shiny and savage.
