Zefirez Fashion Collector | Nice screen and nice design. You remind me of another entry here -the hoplite. But since you did not use historical reference i do not have to judge you on accuracy to the source material. Gold, well done. But I'm me...so a nitpick. Look at your characters arms - noodles. While you're playing a norn barbarian woman who constantly walks around with a greatsword. It's perfectly fine on pictures with 1h sword, there it's a non issue. But when you walk with 2h greatsword in just one hand (first picture from left, 2nd row) it just looks bit silly. |

Scylla Wanderer | Thank you for sharing your point of view, I do appreciate it. :) Now that you are mentioning it ; they do look like noodles ! But I'd like to point out that she's in fact a human female and not a norn. But the race aside, I do get you. I did read somewhere that most greatswords used to weight on average around 4 to 7lbs / 2 to 3 kgs, which is quite not as heavy as I imagined them to be. It seems common that most people believe these were extremely heavy due to their incredible lenght, up to 7 feet / 2 meters, but to be effective a weapon had to be as light as possible in order to strike and be on the winning side. What did make the difference in battle was probably how dexterous the wielder was. I also pictured her using her one hand sword and shield as main set of weapons and deliver once in a while powerful blows with her greatsword. Have a nice one ;). |
