Flesh and bone. Sinew and blood. Things that already remembered being alive are all that much easier to coax back into animation. Yrael knew this as he regarded his family. Not the family that had outcast him for his fascinations, the family he had created. Once you got past the stench of rotting flesh it was easy to see the benefits. Boundlessly loyal and untiring, unwavering friends for life and beyond, his to command as he saw fit, and soon to gain a new sibling.

All was ready. Location was always important in these things. A place of entry, an echo of life, a gateway to the beyond. For this new friend, the height was especially important. The memory of flight, knowledge or air currents and how to swoop and dive and glide. Carving the bone fragments took time, encouraging them to form to a new shape, to fit together into a mismatched skeleton of stolen parts. Flesh forced to knit together with scraps of scale and skin.

A quick cut. A blood toll. As was demanded.

What remained was simply the calling. To open oneself to the ultimate end and scream back at the void itself.

It answered.

(( So first post, hope it's not too grizzly for you! Might not be 100% lore friendly but magic in the games seems pretty open to interpretation. My theory for making new reanimated friends probably involved uh gathering the materials, some kind of ritualistic channeling and magic to jump start them.

Location is Siren's landing, specifically at the top of the jump puzzle there.

I'm using Gw2 Hook and a preset so the colour balance is different to that ingame and dyes may look different if you're not using a similar preset to me.

Been thinking of a way to use the branded skins as something not branded for a while and I mean who doesn't want an undead dragon to fly about and chill with your reanimated friends with?

Edit 5001- The colour chanels for the mount, incase you too want an undead dragon, or anything else as it works on all the branded mounts, are Oxblood, Midnight Rose, Cinders, and Midnight Red))

Thanks :D I was a bit iffy on the mix of magic effects in some of the shots, particularly the necro green combat stuff but there's not too much that can be done about them as far as I know ^^ hopefully next time round I'm gonna work on making stuff a bit more dynamic with poses and locations and work on some better close ups :)
