The Flame of Vengeance

Jahal was once a humble farmer of the Crystal Oasis. That was until the fateful day that Blathazar and his forge army arrived in the Crystal Desert. They quickly went to work destroying all in their path within the region. Much to the dismay of Jahal, a Forged scouting party happened on his farm and set about setting his fields and house ablaze. Enraged Jahal attacked his assailants managing to slay them all with a pitchfork and his fists. News of the single farmer who managed to destroy a Forged scouting party reached Balthazar's ears. Balthazar did not believe it possible that a single farmer would have the strength or power to accomplish such a feat and felt it necessary to see this farmer for himself.

Jahal had realized his home was no longer safe and set out to find shelter within the free city of Amnoon. Unfortunately for Jahal Balthazar found him before he could make it to his destination. The Fallen god Balthazar sensing the power within Jahal offered him a choice: Join him, or be destroyed. Jahal rather than answering launched a frenzied attack at Balthazar who, while caught off guard, was able to easily fend off the attack and strike Jahal down with a fiery blast from his sword. With Jahal's dying breath he vowed to return and visit vengeance upon Balthazar and his forged army.

As the Flames smoldered Jahals flesh he could no longer feel pain. Thoughts of his previous life faded from his mind, giving way to only a singular thought. VENGEANCE. A seering white hot flame of hatred flowed through Jahal. He rose to his feet, no longer the man he once was, but something far more sinister.

(I'm not creative, and haven't really tried making a story or anything like that before.)
