More than just knowledge of toxicology, endorphins and esoteric chemical catalysts, the Hylek also have quite the unique style to them, don't you think? What? Don't look at me like that. Looks can be deceiving; believe me, I know—asura are always the first to judge. Keep your robes and plate; I'll stick to my own trappings.
Besides, I'd bet my rifle that you couldn't concoct a stimulant more potent than anything I've already got brewing back in my lab proper. Gotta keep sharp after all, and an extra kick in the pants while out in the Maguuma jungles or the Elonian desert might be the difference between life and death.
