Kastroph the Sylvari Engineer

This is my try to get a nice look out of my engineer main. I always have some difficulties to get a nice style out of the medium armors. I like his style right now but I believe it is possible to optimize. So if anyone likes to give Tips i welcome it :) . It is needed to say, that i am kind of a more casual player, which means i don`t have the most extravagant options ^^` .
The biggest difficulty i find while creating Kastroph is getting nice mechanic looking style. The problem is that i don`t like big and clunky armour for him and also can`t get every armour item out there causee of my "casualness".
Maybe something to specify is the concept. To be honest I mostly just wanted to play Sylvari because i love this race and also love playing as an engineer. I know, that this combination is kind of quirky, but i would define his character as curious. His dream was full of technologies from foreign cultures. He experienced the shadows of Scarlet but none the less believes in what he is doing. He tries to find the way between the modern technology and his roots. This doesn`t mean he is free from failure and to fight the dragons he said yes to dangerous ways like for example bloodstone magic.
PS: I hope my grammar is not far to bad because english isn`t my native language...
