I very recently started doing fractals as a source of income (and out of curiosity cause I love lore) and immediately fell in love but I was faced with a dilemma; I didn't have an armor look/set for fractals!

So I set to solve that issue since I got my fractal hammer and came up with an outfit/look for my fractal loving 'vari, Valmae! I figured I'd make an attempt with what I had for medium armor skins and go for somewhat of a fractals theme.

This was rather fun and challenging considering how most of the dyes I had looked rather... bad on the stone bit of the ley stone armor, regardless I like the outcome! I may or may not change the boots, I'm unsure yet but long heeled boots are a personal preference for me (I wish there were more. qq)

The dye for the viper's skirt doesn't matter too much, I just went with the same dye on the fabric of the ley stone armor though so it doesn't look odd!

NOTES:
-This outfit was made and edited with the intention of avoiding too many cultural or gem store armour pieces as I wanted a set that my other non-vari toons could wear as well!
-Viper's skirt can be swapped with t2/t3 sylvari cultural leggings and look lovely depending on the dye job! An alternative is also ley stone leggings as the effects are not too (personally) overwhelming.
-Most gloves and boots work with this, short gloves especially if you wanted to make the sleeve on the ley stone chest piece look like it had long gloves.
-Ley stone shoulder piece can work just as well with this set, I avoided it because the effects were incredibly overwhelming to me but looks interesting if you're going for a more 'tank' look.
-Any fractal weapon can work with this set as well as fractal capacitors. I do not have the fractal back piece so I am unable to see how it would look with that.

I definitely like the theme you were going for and you already pretty much nailed it dyewise
Also quite like the screens (the one with the hammer is BOMB) and you delivered a great description!
Now I do think the armour could need some work
Shoulders and gloves (even if they might be simple) would really improve the overall look
The Leystone Coat is a little hard to match, but I don´t think you did yourself a favour by choosing these high boots
It makes her look really short and stocky, the way the already bulky coat ends right where the boots start
I´d really give her shorter boots so you can see a little more of her legs and she doesn´t feel so "crowded"
The upload really just scraped by gold a tiny bit - and for a first upload this is remarkable!-, so if you decide to work a little on her armour, I´d love to change my vote ^^

I thought u did a fantastic job matching simple armor skins to make a fitting design. The dyes were also very well tailored to your skin and hair colour. I enjoyed reading your description too even if it wasn't a short story of your toon. Gold!
