Suyin Donovan

Suyin is a Canthan-Ascalonian girl who grew up poor in Divinity's Reach, and started working for the carnival as soon as she could after it opened.

Those days are behind her now, and the more she works as an adventuring Necromancer, the more money she finds herself with.

However, getting out of a poor financial situation doesn't mean she can rest on her laurels. She's taken to street performing in the Eastern Commons, performing odd song numbers and dancing as she sings. She often visits Uzolan's Mechanical Orchestra to marvel at its ingenuity, and to bust a move while she's there.

So, the idea behind this was to create a colorful "pop star" look, since that's what the character is in her original context. I wanted to capture some of the more wild looks belonging to artists like Katy Perry or Kyary Pyamu Pyamu, but there's only so much I could do with GW2 armor skins.

I'm somewhat glad though because it still looks like she could fight in this, and it's a bit closer to my concept on paper anyway.
