"Druul grew up in the deepest jungle of Maguuma. He took his first steps in the deep undergrowth, learned how to survive in the wildest of nature and made friends with flora and fauna. No one really knows how a little cub could get lost in the jungle all by himself, but magically, he survived. Now the wilderness is his home; he takes only as much as he needs to and lives in harmony with the creatures there. His strongest bond however exists between Druul and the giant, docile sloths that live there and the slublings that live with them in symbiosis.
Weirdly enough, these animals are the closest what this Charr has for a family. He even likes to joke about their similarly coloured fur, which is a total coincidence after all. Since Mordremoth and the Pact are invading the Maguuma Jungle however, Druul experienced more and more invasion of his quiet paradise. A lot of his friends and family even became corrupted by the nefarious dragon. Seeing the sloths corrupted, who were usually such kind and docile creatures, Druul did the only thing he could and took the small slothling that was left behind to take care of it himself. Extremely protective over everything that is left of his little family, he know patrols the jungle in search of a safe place that has not been corrupted and where he can live in peace again."

I wanted to share my Charr elementalist with you! Ever since I dropped the Slothasor Effigy I felt compelled to create a fun little look around this focus, so I came up with this tribal Charr!
The white tattoos created a really nice contrast to his bright fur and I simply wanted him to look kinda wild and like he just came out of the wilderness. His dye scheme tries to include all the dyes Slothasor also shows, so a mixture of greens and oranges which worked better than I could have hoped.
The Slothasor backpiece is just a really funny backpiece and I simply love seeing the animations for him, so that was mostly an added bonus for me ^^ (even though the sloth likes to magically float above my back....)

The only thing I really don't like is that skull on the legwraps. I'd prefer it maybe with that tier 1 charr cultural armor it is also very open towards the feet. Other than that, a well deserved gold! |

 Migg Fashionista | Thats pretty original :D I like how the white fur pattern in the face fits with the white part of the Tribal Vestiment and the Mask Of The Wanderer. The armor combination is pretty nice, I like using these kind of skins, I love them :) The dyes that you did choose fit very nice, they are so realistic, dark and not colorful dyes. I can say the same with the weapons, they all fit very nice with the armor and character. And nice screenshots! GOLD! :) |

 AnaChronism Fashion Guru | I simply cannot understand nor accept that this kind of voting distribution is okay at all. It's cleary more of a trolling thing to do because even if someone doesn't like the look it wouldn't justify a bronze votes looking at all the effort you took to create and deliver a nice presentation of your look, so I really hope that the admins will do something against it. If somone is recieving such a constant distribution it takes away the fun of screening and actually taking their time to upload the look on this site. I'm not saying that getting all the gold medals is the only goal (though it actually is somehow I mean who wouldn't love to get some good votes) but when every late look gets 5 to 9 bronze votes it's a pattern and not a good one. I don't understand why this is happening and why you are getting so many bad votes that are simply unfair. _________________________________ To the look itself! I really like this look a lot! I love the idea and I really like how he looks like the Sloth whisperer :P The shamanic theme is really getting me I think the Tribal chestpiece looks simply amazing on Charr and combined with the bottom half of your look it really adds up the authentic vibe I am getting from him. I love the subtile and natural colours you used and the ginger skin tone makes it even more interesting. What I like the most though is the Sloth- backpiece AND your breathtaking screens. Especially the ones in Ember Bay are beautiful and spot on! The light is just great there. Overall I think even if someone wouldn't like Charr or the theme or the Sloth (but those people are generally horrible), no one could deny the fact that you took a lot of effort to this look and that you created something very beautiful and creative and in my oppinion it definately a big fat Gold! |
