"Oh! What do you think, Brynnar?- Do I strike you a wealthy minister, basking in the riches of her youth, or a plundering ne'er-do-well?" Hael, heart all aflutter with the thrill of discovery, beams and digs her hand into the chest she's draped herself over. All the pretty inside falls back through her fingers and makes the most delightful sound.

Brynnar-tall, proud, and exceedingly kind-gives her the look she's seen now in many nornish faces. She thinks it must be something like affection, the kind that they seem to have for ale, moots, and the weaving of their legends into the stars. Unlike Gixx, he doesn't stop her or lecture her or pull her away, just glances at a Burnisher idly watching them nearby. He crouches down over her and replaces the coins that'd gotten away.

"You look like you're one handful too many away from becoming the first sylvari to go to Exalted jail, if she isn't careful."

Hael sets a circlet upon her head. It doesn't fit. "Well, if I do, I'll be sure to write everything about it down so it won't be a waste."

Brynnar chuckles, and even as the dragon rips apart her mind, she hears it.

And she hears, in her own, less confident, voice: "...You would stop me, wouldn't you?"

"Hm?" Brynnar-tall, proud, and exceedingly kind-gives her a look she's started to see in many faces. The one that's less affection and more like waiting to see what she does next before making a decision.

"If I took too much this time, if it seemed I were about to do something that meant I'd be taken to Exalted jail, would you would stop me? Before it came to that?"

This time, the Burnisher glances at them. Hael feels a sudden stab of shame, enough that the smile upon her face, the smile she's magnificently kept up all this time, begins to fall, and Brynnar's furrowed brow furrows deeper. Quickly, she digs twitching fingers back into the chest. Starts to ramble. "I mean, I've never been so close before, to-to anything quite like this. There's so much I want to learn, Brynnar, about this place and these beings, and if I make a mess of things... I like this life I have now, but some things are still in my nature."

And Brynnar-tall, proud, and exceedingly kind-rests his great hand upon her shoulder. "I know. But don't worry. So long as I'm here, you'll never see a place like that."

Hey, guys! Don't mind me still bouncing around on the Mordrem bandwagon over here...!

This is a look I slapped together for my sylvari Guardian using both the Illustrious top and Dragonhunter gauntlets, two of my favourite heavy armour pieces. I wanted it to look like something an adventurer might wear out fighting dragon minions and hunting for treasure, while still being somewhat scholarly. I went with the Ambrite weapon set because it sorta ties into the Priory's archaeological, researching ways and helps match her physical colour scheme to her equipment's colour scheme.

Most of the screenshots are taken in Tarir, where she would have spent her time being enchanted by the Exalted (and looting their treasure), and fighting against Modremoth's influence. I did take a few screenshots in the new zone, strictly because that lighting is nothing less than awesome.

I'm also not sure why the main image is so artifacted, or how to fix it, sorry!
