"I never meant to seem different from what I am, but sometimes we have little control over our own destinies. I learned to have faith in myself and those who are most important to me. Love is just a temporary madness. Once the waves subside, we are left to tend the slow currents of affection. I grew. Confidence is key. Be who you want to be."

Character name: Satixu
PvP/WvW necromancer. I would like her to have a few more gold fractal weapons, but that'll take a while. I've wanted to do something with the aristocrat's coat for a long time, but I never quite liked the way it looked with most leggings. I think she turned out quite beautiful, and the friend she belongs to seems to love her new look, yay!

Edit: Added more screenies

I love the dyes and I can definitely see this going somewhere, however personally these lowers don't scream elegance to me, the back I can definitely see the concept of elegance, but the front does not. It's an attempt to make skin show and make it "regal". Based on your title, I don't think this is elegance. But of course this is personal opinion and probably going to be an unpopular one at that.

Well the overall look is quite pretty and I like that the chestpiece goes so well with the clipping of the Masquerade Leggings. It doesn't look out of place and I like that.
But- there are some things that I am not too fond of. First of all I am not quite sure why you specified shoulders and headpiece and then didn't show us any of those items on your look while screening. I am not too sure if these shoulders are bugging into the sleeves since I know that many items don't go too well with the puffy part on the shoulders but with some time (and maybe tears) I am entirely sure that you would be able to find something pretty and fitting. I am also a little bit disappointed that you did not chose any gloves. I think there are some elegant and royal looking ones, just try some.
The next thing where I have to agree with hellsqueen is that the elegance is not a 100% there, maybe it's the Leggings or maybe it's because your character is lacking of basically three other armour pieces which are most of the time making a big difference. Those details are very important to deliver something authentic and awesome and I would suggest you to re- work a little bit on that issue.
You did a good dye- job, though it looks quite natural and pretty and fits to the staff. Your screens are not bad but not enough. Don't hesitade taking more I think Caudecus' Manor is a perfect place for example or maybe somewhere in Divinity's Reach. Just think about some nice plces and don't forget also to make some action screens. A little bit diversity is always a good thing.
Overall your character has a lot of potential and I am sure that with some work here in there it would be even a gold- worthy look!

Thanks for the comments :) I took these screenies a while ago to show them to the friend the account belongs to, since he can't log in at the moment. I have since added the shoulders and headpiece, although I think I'll refrain from showing the headpiece in most pictures. I'll have a look around for some good spots for screens, so much potential :D I agree that the front of the bottoms is somewhat too revealing, but it works well with the general look. If the top had been equally skimpy it wouldn't have worked, but I am quite pleased by the general effect. The shoulders work quite well with it actually, if you have another look later I'm sure you'll see that for yourself! As for gloves, I am as of yet unsure if I want to add any, since most don't really work too well with the cuffs on the sleeves. Anyhow, time to take some more screenies!
