UPDATE: New pics added.

First armor posted here. Recently hit 80 and been doing PvP with friends. Like most warriors I play in other games I theme them off of Khorne from Warhammer. Here is my first concept.

Just an absolute dreadnought barreling down at you. Simple straight forward concept. Big and bulky. Main theme idea is something not too fantasy-esque.

Alternate chest option is studded plate if you don't want to many pieces from the same armor set.

Weapon options are variable. Reclaimed weapons, Ascalonian Greatsword, Legionnaire's weapons, Tenebrous weapons, Dark asurian, Glyphic, Steam. All work well with this scheme.

Let me know what you think or any other options that may work.

Damn cheapish, but original look! Feel bit like steampunk hellghast. Three things that hold it back:

The ascalonian greatsword - does not fit. Of the one mentioned tenebrous gs would be best - it needs to be big and bulky too!

Next up the shoes - they are bulky, but don't feel "combat" enough. Something maybe just as bulky but bit more menacing...if such an option exists there.

Lastly the bronze color on shoes - again makes for "non combat" look. You'd expect a rampaging juggernaut's boots to be splattered with blood and organs of his enemies. WHile here you got metal bronze, like he just put them on and was taking a peaceful stroll around the forge.

And asides all that - moar screens please with some action;)

Thanks for the reply.

IMHO the greatsword works well. The metal color offsets the armor and it has elements of red and gold in it. Not enough to blend in too much but enough to match.

The boots are the only issue here. Most boots have a "chain" or "plated" look to them or have spikes. Spike don't mesh well with this style. The "banding" on the boots matches well, alternative option is the Eagle boots from the T2 Norn armor.

The color is inverted due to the fact that I don't own all these pieces yet and this was made using preview from the bank wardrobe. Working on that atm. Ideally the pottery and red would be swapped.

Don't have any more action shots due to the same reason as above.

I disagree about the boots. They're still pretty hefty. But yeah, that greatsword is sorta out of place. Here are a few more skin suggestions. All of these are giant enough for your juggernaut as well as being steampunk-ish.
- Aetherized (I know it's expensive, but that's as steam-powered as you can get!)
- Dredge Sunderer (rare crafted weapon from TP - shouldn't be more than 1.5g)
- Greatsaw (That is, if you were around to get it during Halloween 2012 or 2014, or lucky enough to get it from the Mystic Forge more recently...)

If you can't get any of these, IMO you should use Legionnaire or Reclaimed.

Ooh! I forgot one! You could also try the Machined GS if it's not too much effort to get.

I like this look. The armor pieces goes well for me, even the shield fits. But I have to agree the inquest GS is kinda out of place.
