After The Apocalypse

The idea was to make something unique of my mesmer and I ended up with this rugged post-apocalyptic survivalist supernatural ninja look (can't describe the idea any better, lol).

Armor choices:
The look initially got inspired by the Mordrem Saber and the Lightbringer's Pack. I started to look for armor pieces that looked rugged but also could fit the theme of this survivalist supernatural being. The carapace pants fit perfectly as the "tail" looks like an extension to the back item and had a cloth wrapped on the waist. So I decided to add more pieces with such cloth to the look and the Arah gloves and boots did the job. As soon as I applied them I noticed one more detail to be added to the outfit. The "orbs" in the gloves and boots reminded me of the ones in the swords so I dyed them to be as near as possible to that color. And the chest piece was a perfect match as it is pretty much a rugged cloth and has a similar "orb" on the chest as the backpack does. Shoulders just fit the theme and loved the markings and little details on them. I like to think that the backpack act as a generator of energy and the glow from the swords, the character (I used a total makeover kit to add the same color glow as the swords, also markings) and the orbs is a result of that.

Dyes used: Charred, Charcoal, Tarnished Steel, Flame, Heirloom, Shadow Red, Black Cherry. I wanted the wrappings of cloth (gloves, shoes, waist) to be the same colour but other than that I just did what looked good but fit the colours of the back item, and also looked post-apocalypse enough and had different shades as it's supposed to look worn out :)

Other notes: I almost did not want to add a screenshot from the character selection as the look is literally based on items that can't be seen there but usually people ask for it anyway so I added it.

ps. I'd be lying if I said that Yoshimitsu from Tekken wasn't an inspiration.
