Hey everyone!
After seeing all the HoT styles, i was kinda motivated to upload my new styles aswell :D
So here is my first one:
I saw the "Glints Bastion" shield-skin in some data-mining posts long ago, and already knew i wanted to create a Glint themed Revenant.
Now that I got it, I had quite some trouble with the dyes and the overall armor-comb. But after lots of recolouring and an excessive waste of transmutation charges I finally like it xD
The colour-scheme is meant to fit the crystalline style of the shield.
The hairstyle and the gloves are meant to match, since both have these branches, pointing backwards. They also look a little like crystals (with lots of fantasy xD)
The spiky head-piece is also meant to fit in with the crystal thematic.
Needless to say that the shoulder-piece was a must-have for this look ;D
At first i was unsure about a back-piece, but since the Shattered Dragon Wings really look like those of Glints Aspects from GW1, i HAD to use them ^^
The screenshots were taken in Glints Lair of course!

*edit: I found this location in Gendarran Fields which had amazing lighting, so i decided to take some screens :)
The main-picture and the second one are now from the new location, i hope you like it!

Hylek Fashionista | I understand! At first i had t3 legs and mistward boots, but it was impossible to get the dyes working on that (especially because the boots only have 1 colour-area). I like the cape of the mistward legs so i went for that one. |

 Xyonon Trendspotter | It's VERY HARD to recive gold from me ... but this one truly deserves it! Everything matches perfectly, the dyes, the armor sets, you even done it right mixing sylvari armor with normal armor. This is an amazing work, good job! The only bad thing are the wings. I really don't like them ... but that's rather a personal Issue. |

Hylek Fashionista | TY Xyonon, you honor me :D As i said, i only use the wings because they fit Glints Aspects from GW1 ... since the style and the colours of the wings dont match too good, i wouldnt use them else :P The new legi backpiece would match colour-wise and crystal-theme-wise ... but it was a bit too much effort to put in xD |

I feel it isn't just "oh it's nice place to tak screens", it's more like integral part of your look ;) Crystals from background works perfectly with mask, gloves and shoulders, they also look like crystals. And ayes are masterwork! And shield, ohh I'm so jealous :D For me wings are no needed, but still looks awesome ^^ Max sliders everywhere!! :) |

Hylek Fashionista | Thx for the critic! I agree the Bifrost doesnt totally fit the Glint theme. I just chose it because its rainbow effects were nicely adding up with the rainbow crystals of Glints Lair. Lore-wise i totally disagree though! The sylvari should feel a strong connection to the ancient spirits, especially since their whole culture is based on the historical tradition of one of them (Ventari). There even is a dialogue between npcs in the Grove, where they talk about the mists and stuff, couldnt find the reddit post about it tho :( |
