I've always loved the idea of making a norn characters that was a shaman. Making a Raven Shaman was my first choice, but I always felt that we lacked some of the proper armor pieces/sets to make it work well. It wasn't until I saw the mantel for the Trickster set that I had an idea pumping into my head. Still it took a while to find the parts to make it work. Luckily ArenaNet's art team did an amazing job at designing the leggings for the Ascended set, and the boot for the Incarnate set work really well.
I wanted to incorporate some of the traditional blue coloring that most Raven Shamans use into this set, but I was always being drawn to Midnight Teal when I was dying this combo. I went with it, and I'm glad I did. It works well at complimenting the trinkets on her armor, without making them pop out too much.

All in all I have to say that this is one of my favorite armor combos that I've been able to come up with! :)

Adore the shit out of it!
would've picked bigger boots, it's a tad top heavy now, but nonetheless upperlegs-up looks amazing.

I actually did that on purpose! :D
It's to emulate how birds have thin legs, so I wanted her's to be rather plain, while having the top half have the most focus. :)

The colours are so good and there's definitely a theme going on. If you don't mind me saying, it reminds me of something Yennefer from The Witcher would wear. GOLD!

I'm enjoying the creativity of this look. Well done. I'm tempted to give this a gold but you haven't paired it with any weapons. Sad face.

Really solid look, but doesn't tie in with the leather-dominated norn cultural standards. Even light-armor wearing norn incorporate fur, leather, and/or thicker padding into their outfits.

It's unfortunate that so much of the armor options available to us are stylized for use by humans.

Solid 16/20.
