Hey Guys, im currently working on an outfit for my Norn warrior. It looks kinds cool atm imo, but i kind of dislike the dyes.
Any tips are appreciated.

I do not like the complete HUGE and BIG outfits where you just look like a tank. Thats why i used the smallest bodyheight and physic (Picture with another Norn player below).

EDIT: I slightly adjusted some colors, some more red and changed gray for a bit darker color.

I'm not a fan of the huge or super bulky outfits - I much prefer a cleaner, sleeker look like you've done here. I like the skin combination. The only thing I'd say is that, imo, the dyes feel a bit... unbalanced? I feel like there's too much red on the bottom that doesn't fit in with the rest of the outfit. That said, if the legendary you're making is Twilight, I think it's a great idea to keep some red in the armor, just maybe experiment with placing the color accents in different places.

And good luck with your legendary! They're a ton of work, but a lot of fun.

I agree.
There should be more red parts on the chest. You could also replace the grey dye with charred. This dye looks always great.

The problem is not the dyes, its the armor.

You can notice each armor have a "type" of color that matches it, and most of the old skins (when the game started) dont follow that principle, for example skins where the metal doesnt look like metal.

Some pieces u are wearing are completely "different" in terms of "raw" material to be dyed for.

Hope that info is of some help.

I'm not sure what people are going on about with complaining about how bulky it is--Norn males are inherently bulky.

With that said, can I just rave about how well the priory top matches with the stag leggings? Fantastic match, my friend! Contrary to what silvertree and Elaina suggest, I feel the red was actually perfect before you slapped it on the chest. The way it was before, only the fabric he was wearing was red, while the metal was uniform. Now it looks oddly mismatched in an attempt to blot more red than exists on the leggings. It doesn't look terrible with the crimson up there, but I think it suited better without.

That said, I think if you wanted to extend the application of red, the better place to accommodate would've been the accents on the shoulders and helm.

I love the boots, but I don't feel the gloves suit. The sword also seems to clash somewhat, with that bright blue line down the length of it.

Chest and legs are a very nice combo. Boots are OK but I prefer the Phallanx ones. I am less convinced by the spiky gloves and the sword that do not match the theme of the outfit. I'd pick some more round and nornish gloves like the Dolyak ones.
