Decided to shoot for a Duelist/Blade dancer look for my main character. I would love to read any opinions on this look so long as they are constructive.

P.S. I am not great at taking screenshots so don't hate on me for that please. Also, i deleted my old post to fix it.

Hhhmmm... I can't seem to fix the gamma on screenshots. it was a lot darker on my screen.

I had the same problem before. Have you tried turning the screenshot in to a png before uploading it?

not yet. I have been using the overwolf app to upload the screens from ingame. will try taking regular screens later. I had the gamma at like 70% for the screens from character select.

I like the gear combonation itself, I also like the dyes on it, I just don't think it matches the hair color a lot.
And a general rule for taking screenshots: use Shift+Ctrl+H to turn off the interface ( also works in the character selection screen ).
Besides that, the look is nice, it would be cool if you could also specify all the items/dyes used. :)

Try bumping up your contrast and see if that helps. Contrast makes things faded or sharper.

Ugh... you do not seem to understand a few things. First, I marked the image as Help Wanted because I want help on my look and want suggestions to make it better. Second, I said CONSTRUCTIVE criticism only please. I have no problem taking criticism so long as you give suggestions to the problems you bring up. Third, I came to this web site not because I wanted to compete with others but because I wanted to improve my characters for my own personal aesthetics. Have you ever even heard of a Sounding Board? Please read my summary before you post anything else. Thank you and have a great rest of your day/night.

Yeah, I read it. Seems like you just cant deal with criticism. It was constructive also. Nvm, I won't bother you again.

Please allow me to give you an example of constructive criticism. Regarding your comment that went something along the lines of " It is obvious you do not care about your screenshots because you can't even be bothered to hide your user interface" what you could have said to make it constructive rather than destructive is " one thing you can do to make your screenshots better is to try turning off your user interface, it makes your pictures less cluttered and thus more appealing to look at."

Look, I really do not want to start a flame war with you but i know what constructive criticsm looks like. You offered no solutions or suggestions to the concerns you raised so the best thing that can be described as is destructive. I hope you do not treat other newbies they way you treated me. I feel for them.
