For a Sylvari, hunting Mordrem is even more dangerous than for any other tyrian race. You have to protect your eyes from Mordrem illusions. You have to protect your feet from grasping roots that can corrupt you. And if you carve your weapons from their remains, you need superior protection for the hands. The Mordrem parts will spread their poisoning magic as long as their master continues to be.
Mordrem are, though mighty, rather ... narrow minded. Abusing a good camouflage can buy you precious time to escape or set up a counter attack.
