Norn Spartan

By combining some of my favorite colours; golds, deep reds and browns, with some of the more aesthetically pleasing male Norn armours I was able to create this spartan look.

Unfortunately the shield proved to be the difficult part as there is no real spartan-esc shield skin in-game. Realistically, the closest skin would be the Lionguard shield because of it's size, domed shape, colour and material. However, the gold is too bright to match my colour scheme and it has spiked edges which would not fit the theme. Jora's Defender would be an honorable mention, despite still being wood rather than full metalic it is a prettier shield than the more standard one I eventually chose - however the gold plating is again not a good match and it clips far more.

Ultimately it came down to the standard craftable shield skin or the Summit Targe. The Summit Targe skin is actually a very good match in shape and material but it is horribly small and not really a fantastic colour either. So I chose the stock standard bronze shield - does the job, even if it isn't quite perfect!
