 Ego Fashion Guru | I don't like it either, but more I dislike to have name/profession text, skill symbols or the edge of the character screen on the screenshot, so I cut that off. Would be cool if it would be possible to open a character view without symbols and text and where the character can be seen completely without the charr tail covered from the weapon symbols and so on. When I hide the interface, I can't open the character menu. |

PaulIndrome Trendspotter | Open the character select menu and THEN hide the interface. It's totally possible. Just can't rotate your toon anymore once the interface is hidden. Bind the "hide interface" button to something more easily accessible than the default combination (mine's on alt+z, NA layout) and you're good. The camera clipping against solid obstacles (walls, certain trees) can be used to "zoom in" on a character in such a way that the feet are still shown. Other than that the preview window is a great tool to make 360° concept shots of your combinations without any interface in the way. Have fun! :P |

Ego Fashion Guru | I don't mean the character select menu, I mean the menu I can access ingame with H -German keyboard- (I don't now the english word). I make screenshots in the character select menu, too, but I don't like the light there, all characters look dark and too blueish there, it does not show the real colors. When I open the menu where I can change the coöors of the armor, the right colors are seen and the brown background is nice, but there I can't hide the interface, cause that is the interface, and I can't zoom there. I use the camera clipping, too, check other screenshots. :) As said, this character is jsut created and I didn't take time yet to make a few really cool screenshots. My computer provides the game with arround 5 FPS to play, cool screenshots with movement are not easy. :( As for this character: I wanted no feet on the screenshot - she does not have nice pants and shoes yet. :D |
