...he was the God of the SUN

The sun is the giver of life, controlling the ripening of crops which were worked by man. Because of the life giving qualities of the sun the Egyptians worshiped the sun as a god. The creator of the universe and the giver of life, the sun or Ra represented life, warmth and growth. Since the people regarded Ra as a principal god, creator of the universe and the source of life, he had a strong influence on them, which led to him being one of the most worshiped of all the Egyptian gods and even considered King of the Gods. At an early period in Egyptian history his influence spread throughout the whole country, bringing multiple representations in form and in name.
Ra travels every day on board his sacred bark (the path of the sun) across the sky and every night through the subterranean worlds (the Douat). Every sunrise is a victory that Ra has won over the "forces of darkness". Perhaps this is the explanation that the Egyptians bring for the phenomena of solar eclipses, which would be as many momentary defeats of the god in darkness.

The god is depicted in different ways, but also as a human being with sun rays overhead. This is my interpretation of sun god Ra..According to legend, when Ra took on human form, he therefore grew older from day to day. So I chose some older looking characater-
I started to do this with new back item, and added weapons skins from birthday chest. I've been thinking about which headpiece to use (here are on test screen with new Sun-Blessed Vision: https://i.imgur.com/PgMC9PY.jpg). I have also tried another breast part: https://i.imgur.com/ZKfcQJx.jpg. The armor parts are so different when coloring (I've already used about 6 different shades of gold), that was one of the reasons why I ended up using the (older) Priory's Historical Vestments instead of the part from the birthday chest.
