While browsing the Priory's library to learn about other cultures, the charr gained an appreciation for the humans' "fairy tales" and their bittersweet endings. Many of them involved people using flowers to express true love, show dedication to one another, or even magically break curses. He imagined that one day he too could be heroic, or maybe even become someone's prince. Not wanting to risk getting hurt, however, he decided to lock his heart away so no one would get close.

The little rose petals on the Devoted weapon set reminds me of "Beauty and the Beast" and fairytales in general, so I bought the sword a few months ago and worked on turning my condi weaver into prince charrming. :)
I went with the Warbeast top because I initially made this character just to wear that, then used the requiem pants and bloodstone crown to repeat the twisted gold metal pattern that was on it.
