Mortally wounded, her life flashed before her eyes.
Pain ripped through her body and she beseeched the gods to help in the desperate final battle.
As she gathered the power of the light, she was pierced by energy as fine as silk and sharp as a needle.
Collapsing, she recalled her days as a young green warden and almost-forgotten battles and injuries, and when she got her first hat.
At last Gaia called and she staggered as she was received to her final rest.
Sorry about all the swooning! They made such pretty images I couldn't resist! I had a hard time with the story as usual as I wanted to include my favorite images so it is a bit cobbled together.
