Hi guys.

This isn't a proper complete look yet so there's no fancy screenshots or backstory or anything. I don't know if I suck at colours or if these particular armour pieces are not very dye-friendly, but I seriously need help with these dyes and this is the only place I know of that has creative people who love fashion wars and who might want to help.

Basically, I like the silhouette of this outfit and how all the pieces fit together. But I have spent many hours upon hours trying different dye combinations and they all look awful. If anyone wants to give it a go in game themselves or just give general ideas, I'm happy to take any advice I can get at this point.

Preferably it would have at least some red in it as I like the colour red and it's my accessory colour (which unfortunately we still can't change) but I won't be too picky.

Thank you for reading!

PS: The site won't let me update specific armour pieces for some reason so...
Shoulders: Forgeman Shoulders
Chest: Warbeast Jerkin
Gloves: Whisper's Secret Gloves
Legs: Vigil's Honor Leggings
Shoes: Illustrious Striders

You didn't mention which weapons you use (this should also harmonize).
You said that you have already tried out some colors, but maybe a color tool will help you first ( Otherwise you can use the search function here (e.g. enter Warbeast Jerkin or more pieces of armour) and get inspired by already existing presentations

Thanks for the tips! Didn't know that colour tool site existed, and never thought to search for the individual pieces. I'll keep trying. I really wish GW2 had a randomize button for dyes to give inspiration, I'm sure a happy little accident would happen now and then.

As for the weapons I really don't mind if they match because I'd prefer to match the weapons to the armour, not the other way around. So if they don't fit the look I'll just find another weapon that does. But the types of weapons I usually use are a battle staff and short bow.
