The Necromancer Rohwenna showcasing the Battlemage Uniform. Being an alchemist versed in the art of Necromancy, she shows her aptitude through the odd coloration of her armor.

Cherry sylvari with turquoise hair is a matter of taste. But armour parts/ colours do not harmonise here. This looks like dice without context...

Dice without context? Please, do enlighten me on what that means. And maybe throw in a little more elaboration on why you don't think the armor parts harmonize here for you. I'm intrigued.

You describe this as the Battlemage Uniform and in the second sentence you talk about Alchemist (somehow I don't see any idea for either the first or the second). With "Dice without context? " I mean that I don't see anything here that makes your look interesting and extraordinary. I don't know if you really thought about the choice of the armor parts. It seems boring to me.
I imagine an alchemist differently. Rather in (cape-like) cloak, with hood (something reminiscent of the Middle Ages), perhaps mysterious glowing details. Or totally crazy - with steampunk elements. And some other weapons belong to it as well.
Armour pieces you have chosen do not harmonise. The glasses need a little more realistic look. The chest part is uniform and doesn't fit stylishly to the "silk" skirt and other parts etc. This also applies to the colors, whether sylvari skin/hair/eyes or armor pieces. Looks like a coincidence...

I did what I could with what I had as I do not have a lot of light armor pieces to flesh out a look. The "Alchemist" bit belongs to the character solely for RP purposes and has little to do with the uniform's design itself. And uniforms in general do not have much style as much as they have functionality, which is supposed to be the whole point to them. The glasses are there to stay and they will not go away, not for this character, not for any other attire, uniform or otherwise.

I think I can see where you're going as far as your tastes go, though; and on that note, I might have to give you fair warning that you might not like the rest of my styles as they're dressed down and minimalistic compared to - and I might come off a little harshly for saying this - a lot of the visual clutter of most fashion designs out there.

The pictures are too dark. This doesn't help when you are using dark colors. I think if the pictures themselves are going to be dark then the colors need to stand out more in order to help the look out. I also think listing the armor pieces you use and the dyes you use will be helpful in judging the look.

I get not having a lot to work with. We were all there once and if you go through some of my early posts the looks I created for some characters were abhorid. Especially when compared to what I produce now. Granted I also will put months (almost a full year for some looks) into finding just the right piece to complete my look (I make frequent use of the Wardrobe to see what peices are in the game and to preview a look before I start hunting down pieces. If you aren't using it I recommend doing so as it can help you find pieces to chase down).

Also, I don't mind minimalist if the look calls for it. I tend to hate visual clutter and I've gotten a lot of critiques aimed at my work because I didn't jazz things up enough beyond the basic vision I had. However, I think brighter screenshots or brighter colors will go a long way in your looks. A little bit of light and/or color can help a minimalist look stand out and pop more.

However, if you don't mind a few suggestions. I think the Trickester's Chest piece would work well for a Battlemage or Alchemist theme. I think if you are going for either I would also consider the Weaver Antipods gloves and/or the Tempest Loop shoulder piece. I think the Tempest Loop is perfect for alchemy like gadgets. The Aetherblade shoulder and head piece might also work well. The Warbeast gloves and shoulders might also work for you. I think the Seer gloves would be a better choice. Finally, I would recommend the Armor of Koda leg piece. Color wise I think if you added silver to go with the green and maybe made use of some softer gold colors the look would stand out more. I think using silver and gold helps with the alchemist idea of transmuting materials into precious metals like gold and silver.

These are only suggestions though.

I really like your choice of sword and how you combined it with the shoulders.
I also appreciate the unusual, contrasting dye scheme of the armor, however it dosn't quite fit the colors of your sylvari herself. If the hair was green too and the skin maybe a bit more like the purple on the pants, it would be amazing!
