Weathered Whispers

The commander said to push forward. We pushed forward.

Before the pact everything was simple. We did not fight in wars, slay dragons, defy gods; no. But that was then. Maguuma proved to be the greatest challenge, forcing us to adapt our ways, learn new styles, and survive. Many were lost who could not change but we persevered. Stealth and precision was exchanged for mobility and evasiveness as we were forced into the tight quarters of the Maguuma jungles. And alas the dragon was finally defeated. We pushed forward.

The pact took us to the newly opened sands of Elona not as agents but as soldiers; a stalwart defendant of the pact alongside the fearless commander. We defied Balthazaar in the scorching heat, covering ourselves as the locals would and adapting to the dangerous terrain and soldiers of the god of war himself. We abandoned the leathers of our past and donned the plates of war. We pushed forward.

That was then. This is now; and yet, we'll push forward.
