Burden of Eternity - Avery

All she needed was a second chance, a new life to be more than what she had been. It had been over two centuries where she lingered in the Mists, under Grenth's gentle gaze. He still had plans for her.

The legends of the Mists accompany her, both her burden and her strength. When she awoke, her home was a shattered ruin and her god had left this world behind. With nothing left in the world, she took her gift and forged her path forward.

Time would reveal her sister who lingered in the world while Avery slept, as well as a home that may fill the holes in her heart. Though ripped from her own time, she still has plenty left to fight for.

So, at long last, here's Avery. I've hinted at her in a few other outfit bios, and she's appeared a few times in the Lacrymosa posters. But finally, here she is, with an outfit I'm actually really satisfied with.

It was a really difficult balance to try to find something that captured everything, combining her more refined side with her more fiery side.

I used the Arah gloves/shoulders for the way they compliment each other, and how they feel like a corrupted version of the arm bracers from GW1's Agent of Balthazar costume. Though I took the opportunity to make them a deep red instead of the gold found in the old costume. It was a nice way to inject some color in there.

Either way, though I've been waiting for this submission for a long time, I find myself struggling to say anything particularly worthwhile. So just... yeah, I hope you enjoy.
