"Once there, everyone immediately understood the cause of the noise: a young man of about eighteen, without armour and greaves, in a woolen doublet, whose former blue color had turned into an indefinable shade of wine red and sky blue; the face elongated and brown, protruding cheekbones, a characteristic of cleverness, strongly developed jaws - the unmistakable hallmark of a gascony. He had open, wise eyes and a curved, nobly shaped nose. For a young man he's too tall, but too small for a full-grown man. Had it not been for the long sword that dangled from his weir, a less experienced eye would have been able to hold him for a travelling tenant's son. Our young man was on horseback, but his horse had a strange appearance. It was a Klepper from the Béarn, at least twelve years old, with yellowish skins, with a Tail without hair and with legs full of blacks. And for the young d'Artagnan - that was the name of the owner of this horse - the sensation was all the more embarrassing as he was well aware of the ridiculous painting that his horse had to give him, the handsome rider."__________________________________________________A.Dumas

Another cosplay today. D'Artagnan – Charles de Batz de Castelmore d'Artagnan: a young, foolhardy, brave and clever man seeking to become a musketeer in France. The novel "The Three Musketeers" (A. Dumas) is familiar to everyone. For my musketeer look I used a book cover as a template - old-fashioned and stylish.
I hope you like my D'Artagnan

What an amazing concept! Love the chestpiece and the hat, they make the most work to be almost identical with the original d'Artagnan. Really well done!

The amount of swagger is off the charts

Love the idea and the look, and an excellent presentation. A shame how the boots clip so much with the leggings though. Its a bit jarring. Not your fault however ^^

Yes, the one with boots is unfortunately clipping error. I tried some others (as you can see in making of). I stayed with this model because they are so high.
And thanks for a nice comment :)

I love the Three Musketeers. One of my favorite books. I just posted my own version of the concept that I had made before I took a break from the game.
