Ok, this is my first submission. Hopefully I did all the thing correctly.

I always loved the Desolation environment in both Guild Wars games. I always imagined it would be a perfect place for a wandering necromancer just trying to make use of the things she had to survive.

My look consists of tattered cloth, harpy feathers, and bones/skulls from her necrotic entourage’s last kill. I used the dragonscale headdress (which I can’t find in the drop-down. Dye: Bloody Red, Gold Sheen, & Embalm), conjurer mantle, primitive chest piece, legs, and gloves and top it off with the trickster boots.

Apart from the fact that you use parts from one set for chest and trousers (which is always a bit boring), your look is nothing new or original (you can also find some almost identical looks on this page). The screens for startup are ok, but I would advise you to use zoom and other settings under options ingame. The head part you can't find is called Light Dragonscale Headdress (like in the game).

Ah, ok...well...at least now I know what I need to improve on. Thanks for the insight! :0)

Hey! It's a great first post so good attempt :)

Scourge really suits Desolation map IMO.

@ Aldon Vinetwig: can you say what you think "great" here?
I don't mind someone getting inspiration and copying a (here existing) look 1:1, but this should look better than the inspiration. And this is unfortunately not the case (please use the "search" function!).
@ ieva: here armor mix is not only a "bit boring", it's totally boring (and even 3 parts from one set - which is more NPCS moderate and not fashionably creative). I don't like the screens either (I can't even recognize weapons on them!).
So I can (with the best will in the world) not give a good rating

@Aldon Vinetwig Thank you for being kind. :0)

@Frans While @ieva was a little harsh he at least provided helpful criticism. You apparently don't have the skills in life to be kind and helpful to others. A simple "Hey that was a good first try . Why don't you try X, Y, or Z next time" would have been acceptable. Apparently you don't understand the common saying of "if you can't say something nice don't say it all." You forget GW2 is a game and this website is for showing what you are proud of in GW2 not for slamming others because you have a complex. Grow up, dude. :0/

I understand everyone wants to defend their character, but "if you can't say something nice don't say it all" is no good. Here is fashion website with medals...
I rate your presentation and write comments without digressing why I rated it badly. You will get to know other evaluators here. Those who write comments to set your work to 0 (that requires a comment!) and then delete the comment. These are complex and childish behaviors (would you prefer that?). Apart from such ratings (and my personal taste), inflated ratings are just as bad. And what is worth gold here, is mysterious to me...
I'm not a fantasy story writer (and don't expect my writing to be rated gold), but read stories from Aldon Vinetwig and you'll notice difference. That's exactly true for Armor mix - what is it about creatives? If you want to see something origeneles, click on Dragonscale Headdress (top left) and you will see postings submitted by Elessar Taralom, shopaholic or ieva mentioned here... The colors used are ok, but since I don't see weapons that match, how should I rate that? Certainly not with gold. And there we are with your screens - if you don't even recognize weapons on them, they are certainly neither gold nor silver worth.

I don't care if you thought it was worth gold or a it was a piece of garbage. You are entitled to your opinion and that's fine. You can add constructive criticism - that's fine. It's helpful even. Then the person knows how to improve. And if you don't think it's worth a vote then don't vote! It's as simple as that.

There is no reason to write a scathing review on someone who is brand-new. It's like an Olympic swimmer telling the kid who just started on a swim team for the first time that he/she sucks and is too slow.

I learned some helpful tips on how I can improve on my next submission. My hope for you is that you can be kinder to other newbies than you were with me.

Hey, maybe you can add some more screens so that you can view your character in a great environment.
Have fun showing your characters.
