The noise and exhaust fumes of the creeping traffic seemed to be amplified many times over, and the penetrating intensity of the sunlight stung my retina. Once I reached the relative shelter of my desk - standing in the quietest corner of an open-plan office - I turned on the fan and pointed it at my face. After regaining my spirits a little, I dedicated a few minutes, like every morning, to the cacti that I put in a row on my desk. I checked to see if there was any rot or any withered or dry parts, I wiped the dust off with a soft brush and made sure the moisture in the potting soil was correct, and then I turned it so that it was evenly exposed to daylight. After that was done, I took my beautiful letter opener and sliced an envelope...

I don't know what happened afterwards. In any case, the open-plan office was deserted. And I... Was I unconscious?
The first thing I could perceive again was a loud hammering. I stood stunned in front of a bookshelf and something was pounding in my head. No... That was at the office door. A postman shouting: "A parcel for Miss Cactus".
I looked around, my letter opener was nowhere in sight. So I pulled a nail scissors out of my Beauty Bag. When I cut the parcel tape, I found my letter opener in giant format and a bundle of photos. Stunned, I stared at the pictures, which slipped out of my hands... Was that me? In the desert? As Cactus?
This is my Story

After one month without GW2 (even without internet) I am back with some weird story and present my cactus :)

My role model for this presentation was the cacti with their great variety of thorns, spines and prickles. So I tried to combine all "prickly" armor parts with each other. The hardest part was to find a matching headpiece (here are some alternatives: https://imgur.com/a/TovNulO), because heavy armor has hardly any parts without metallic effect. I decided for Turban, because it reminds vaguely of a small cactus :) Plus the hidden reddish sylvari skin (wood) color. With the boot I sway between Bounty Hunter's and Leystone Greaves. Because I already use 2 parts of Bounty Hunter's, here my decision fell on Ley part.
I tried a few when choosing the weapons... In spite of the spikes on "vegetable" Warden weapons, I liked Shifting Sands weapon skins better. The trickling sand fits the desert and I could integrate the weapon into my story without any problems :)
I hope you like my a member of the plant family Cactaceae

Where are the shots with Choya? Can not be. Of course, I `m joking. It's good that you did not cover the entire face of the figure and have eyes.

It is usually quite hard to have cultural (sylvari) armor work well with regular pieces, and I gotta say the results here are pretty good!
