"You've got a powerful inner fire about you, Saver. Don't be afraid to let it loose on whatever this world throws at you." This is what my irresponsible father told me when I was just a young boy playing with wooden swords in Queensdale.

I was the adventurous one. Lenden, my brother, wasn't so much. As kids, we used to run all across the countryside, through the rolling hills of Kyrta, to sate our appetites for adventure. There was this one time when we took down a forest grub all on our own with just our slingshots and wooden swords. We thought we could take on any baddie that came our way. Imagine our... well my... excitement when we came across a huge asuran gate near the Queen's palace. Lenden wasn't too fond of the idea of traveling through a giant purple world-gate, but there's no problem a good shove can't fix.

This strange portal took us to a place we've only heard stories of: Ascalon. We weren't exactly the types for cities so, in a panic, we ran off into the woods. All I remember was a cave in the distance. It looked interesting... like something we had never seen before back home. It was at that moment I blacked out. When I awoke, my brother and I had been imprisoned by a group of Flame Legion Charr within that very cave. These Charr had been experimenting with ways to create a being of great destructive power, and we were their newest test subjects. We were each made to drink a flaming-hot concoction of ash and liquid tar. My brother handled it well. In fact, he handled it so well that he was kicked out of the cave. He was consided the "dud." But I was different... much different. Shortly after drinking that revolting potion, a felt a great strength surge from within me. Before the Charr could grab their weapons, I blew the cage door off of my cell in a fiery rage and single-handedly demolished both of the massive Charr in the cave with just my bare hands. Don't worry, I destroying their "base" in the process. After cooling down, I left the cave in search of answers, and one day I know I'll find them.

It's been several years since I've last seen my brother. I often wonder if the experiment had a similar reaction to him as it did me. I don't know where to go from here, but there's one thing I definitely plan to do: let loose my inner fire on any poor weakling who finds me in the wrong mood.

Edit: Thanks for checking out my first GW2 style post :) I’m pretty proud of this one and I hope you guys like it. As for my "Help Wanted" notification, I was looking for some advice when it comes to greatsword skins. (Taken from my comment reply down below) I’m currently switching between Ebonblade and Etched Avenger, but I was thinking about using things that would fit the color scheme and were fairly realistic like Ogre Longsword, Modniir Sunderer, Krytan Greatsword, or even the basic Iron Greatsword skin.

Help wanted? What help do you want?
I like your story. Armor mix/colors are ok. Screens in the first row are good (the rest a little needy - too much background, too little character). I think this is a good start here on GW2Style.

Something I can’t make my mind about is the greatsword skin. Idk if you could tell, but I have two different skins between my 8 screenshots. I’m currently switching between Ebonblade and Etched Avenger, but I was thinking about using things that would fit the color scheme and were fairly realistic like Ogre Longsword, Modniir Sunderer, Krytan Greatsword, or even the basic Iron Greatsword skin.

Except Ogre & Modniir Sunderer, all of them fit you. You can also take Mistwild, Merciless GS. Or take a look at Balthazar's Greatsword (in my opinion this would be the best match for Koda's Warmth Enrichment).
