Chiorydax Fashion Guru | I think this look is really nice, though I thought of water Djinn before I thought of Glint (more on that in a moment). There's a lot going on in this outfit. Not overwhelmingly so, but enough that I think it could be improved to address them a bit. Generally, I feel the colors are a bit gaudy. Maybe that's just my personal taste, but I might as well throw it out there. Reigning in the yellows would help, and adding some darker blues to bring out the brighter blues would help a ton, imo. The scarf, while I see it's part of the desert theme, is one of those pieces that can seriously hinder an outfit if not used perfectly. In this case, the existence of stripes feels off, but I acknowledge that having it all be one solid color would be overbearing too. Just something to consider. Back to the Glint theme, I think the blues are excellent but the yellows detract from the Glint aspect. I think it would be a lot stronger with more pastel colors (the Glint dye set comes to mind) or a slight shift toward purples/pinks. Beyond that, I think you have great screenshots. I'm particularly fond of the mystical floating firebrand skill ones. |

bknob Stylist | Hey, thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I felt the same way about a lot of the stuff in this one and that's mostly cuz I've been trying to get a cool GW1 theme going on with my Norn. I think I finally found what I was going for with this recent one I posted, but they're two different sets. The first being the Pilgrim/Adventurer following the path of the events of GW1 Prophecies, and then Ascending into a more Mystical style which I haven't posted yet. I was kinda trying to blend them with these last few designs with using a Derv as inspiration and just decided to separate them between Adventurer and Ascended hero from GW1 based on the story of the Flameseeker Prophecies. I'm quite happy with them but id like to hear your thoughts on the new ones as well! |
