"The Thing cannot be described - there is no language for such abysms of shrieking and immemorial lunacy, such eldritch contradictions of all matter, force, and cosmic order. A mountain walked or stumbled.
If I say that my somewhat extravagant imagination yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature, I shall not be unfaithful to the spirit of the thing. A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings; but it was the general outline of the whole which made it most shockingly frightful."
? H.P. Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu
This is my first new look I've posted in a while but this look for my necromancer been in the works for a while. Been taking forever to get the Gloves of the Obedient.
This is another super edgy character. I wanted something that was a mix between Lovecraft evoking themes of cosmic horror and Species, with the idea of a beautiful woman concealing a terrifying inhuman thing. And I wanted her to look like something you would fight as a raid boss.
I tried to dye the Gloves of the Obedient to match the Sclerite Karka Shell back piece, giving the character a disturbing organicness to them in all the wrong ways. I also tried to use a lot of living fleshy weapons like the Sclerite and Chak weapons. though I couldn't entirely resist showing off my Binding of Ipos.
Also they eye color needed to get those piercing yellow eyes was Chili Red. The Demon Masque does all sorts of unpredictable crazy thing to your character's eyes.
