Gold goes with everything, but I particularly like it with turquoise/mint.

Need a new torso piece -- many sylvari heavy armors have weird flares on the sleeves I don't care for, or are too different dye-wise than the arboreal leggings currently equipped. Help?

Wow! The setup is awesome! Never seen such awesome looking Heavy Armor wielder. In my opinion, if there is Help needed, let me just start by changing that--fugly--face, I mean if you have such beatiful armor, why wear such uninteresting face? I mean yeah, those are Sylvaris, they don't often look pretty, but it would be nice to see her with some serious look or a cute face, but again, that would break the immersion aswell.

Imho, just change the face and you are good to go! The armor mixture is fantastic and that alone deserves GOLD.
Cheers!

Thank you so much!! I love her face a lot. Glad you like her armor, though! :> She's come a long way!

The armor set as a whole is sadly a slight dissapointment for me. Where as the bottom part of the leggings and the shoes look slick and 'clean' sylvan like, the top parts (basically only the shoulder pieces and the gauntlets) don't fit that whole vibe for me.
The torso piece can actually really work with the other parts, as I know that the female torso for Sylvari tend to have some issues. However I'd personally look for other shoulder and gauntlet-combo's.
Anyways. Dye work is decent, perhaps going for a slightly more blue-tint for her leggings instead of the green one.

I too think the armor needs some work, you have different styles here (leaf/wave patterns vs plate/boss ones), you should focus on one, as a Sylvari you have access to a lot of options, since that usually means going for a leaf/wave pattern there's a lot of stuff that compliments that: Cultural, Whispers (gauntlets), Warbeast set, Legendary set, Guild set, Salvaged Forged gloves, Revenant, Nightmare, Shadow of the Dragon... probably some others I can't recall right now.

Also, the colours, you're going turquise+gold, but there aren't weapons complimenting that, you should switch the turquise to deeper greens or blues, depending on Zodiac-like sets (you can just go Astral/Gold Fractal in the meanwhile) or DayDreamer set, which is rather affordable and looks good on many Sylvari styles, OR the Auric set (which is even more affordable).

Many of these go really well with Gold Fusion dye, so it may be worth investing.

About the glows, the last image really makes the brighter part shine, that may be worth investing for a golden look, so don't dismiss glowy pieces.
