Sorry, I don't have a story to really tell for this one. I was just messing around in the wardrobe for the light armor choices for my Charr Reaper and found something that just clicked for me. Hopefully you all like it, and if I can think of a good back story for it, I'll add it for the flavors.

And for any who is wondering, I had to go a bit brighter shade for the dyes on the shoulder pieces, as what you put on it will be quite a bit darker than you would expect.

I love me a red nose charr, ha ha ha... The armor combination is thematic fitting for the shaman caste. The red nose is a nice pop of color. I'd like how you correct the dye on the shoulder piece, that shows great consideration to the overall harmony of the look. My only critique lies in the presentation. If you go with a dark color palette, make sure your screenshots are properly illuminated (facing a strong light source like a torch, a halo, etc.) so colors can be distinguished.

I would've taken my screenshots in LA, like I did the last one. Problem is, it's the spooky time of year where its night time all the time, so trying to find a properly lit place is a bit of a challenge for me when I'm tired.

If you couldn't find a good place, a cheat I always do is to find a corner with a torch (or any strongly glowy things), posing literally next to it and turn camera around until I find a good lighting angle.

You can see an example here: http://gw2style.com/look.php?id=13703 I did a one take photoshoot in the Desert Borderland when it transitioned from day to night. In game, the night looks much more magical as our eyes become used to it, but it doesn't do any service to your character on screenshots. The last three screens I photoshopped the brightness up and they look much less pleasing and natural than my header photo - the one where my character stands slightly behind the torch.

I really like the overall armour/dye mix, but the presentation is a little lackluster
Ascalons catacombs have some really nice spooky places, there are graveyards all over Tyria, Orr got some creepy temples...there are a lot of fitting locations if you get a bit more creative
It´s a silver from me as is, but with a better presentation it could easily be gold
