SteezSamurai Stylist | The screens are okay, but you should do something about the dyes. The armor looks like its made of plastic. Maybe try some more metallic ones! Try changing the imperial gold to normal gold or sand. |

Chiorydax Fashion Guru | To add to Steez's comment, don't forget to consider materials and color nuance. For instance, you're literally using three dyes to color everything-- the same gold is being used for metal as it is for cloth (on the pants). Perhaps the material gets discolored and ragged in the desert heat? Maybe the metal should be gold and the cloth should be sand or even charred to show connection to the environment. On a completely different note, think of what the colors mean. Having a flowing canvas on the pants is similar to a flag, and blue is more commonly associated with valor. Swapping the blue and gold on the pants may add some nice contrast and better sense to the design. Or even, since you're including the purple flag on the backpack, shift the blues closer to the purple range to compliment it. Not only does it bring the outfit together, but people on this website seem to be big fans of outfits based on an existing weapon/backpack. And lastly, this may just be a personal preference, but I really enjoy dyes with a lot of depth (compare charcoal to charred, for example). Even if you're going for a regal appearance, you don't want everything to be bright and candy-colored. Contrasting clean and shiny with deep and worn can have a tremendous impact on the color scheme. Beyond that, I do like your armor combination, and I look forward to seeing what you do with it. |
