Here's my sketchy rare-items-trader/pirate/smuggler, mixing classic Sylvari fashion with a hint of steampunk.

Ahona is a very grey-moraled anti-hero type, focusing more on deception and manipulation than raw power to achieve her goals. She rarely engages in combat, preferring to prevent direct confrontation by poisoning her foes, sabotaging their gear, or just manipulating their allies into turning on them, because she's aware that she likely wouldn't live very long in an honest fight.
She used to belong to a bigger fleet, but was kicked out after tricking the entire faction into waging war against LA, and that one incident that ended with her Captain mysteriously dying, leaving her in his spot.

Her manner of speech fluctuates wildly between obviously fake, stereotypical pirate-talk, and technobabble that'd put an Asura to shame. Sometimes, Ahona appears not to remember which of these personas is made up.

I really like the bacpiece in combination with the elixier gun on the screens, that´s a really clever idea!
Reading your description I don´t quite feel the sketchy/pirate theme, mainly because you chose such light dyes; maybe try some less plant-y coat and go more in the direction of browns, beiges and some darker greens mixed in if you wanna keep that?

I actually quite like this! It has a very cartoon sort of feel to it, with the greens contrasted starkly with the whites. It's a bit too clean though for a "sketchy" trader, she looks like she's wearing a freshly washed lab coat, more fitting for a scientist of sorts. Maybe tweak the theme a bit, I love this nostalgic two-tone neon color scheme.

HI! Thank you so much!
And well, I'm a roleplayer with around twenty pirate characters, so I have the 'classic', grungy pirate theme in plentyof variations already. Ahona here? I wanted a Sylvari with Celestial as the base dye, who subverts a few tropes, in look and personality, so it's my intention to have her not look like a typical pirate. But thanks for the input!

Thank you as well! Well, as I already explained in my previous reply, she's supposed to look clean and un-piratey.
(And well, she *is* a scientist, as in, an alchemist)

Maybe you should add that in the description then, so it´s a little less misleading for the unknown onlooker :)
I still think that the dye job is missing something, like a third dye for accentuation, anything to make it more interesting to look at and less bleak

Touche - Looking back on my description, I probably should give a little more information.
And yes! I might work a purple dye in, to fit the chemicals in the backpiece and the gun.

I think that would be a great idea! Looking forward to seeing the alternative version then :)
