Nature will kill you. And then make things out of you.

If the Ranger is the embodiment of nature as a deadly force, then the Druid is nature's will to live. The duality of nature is less separable than even two sides of a coin; it is one force fighting its own self for dominance; two arms of one being locked in a titanic struggle to wrestle itself to the ground. Nature is death and decay. Entropy and degradation. All things succumb to nature's grasp, whether to predation, disease, or random chance. But as nature destroys, it also rebuilds. If something survives, it does so with the pieces of others that could not. Life is a constant struggle that only the most tenacious can win.

Rangers represent the natural death that comes to all things, but Druids represent the survival that makes use of what has come before. Those with lesser will give way to those with greater. Life is the tongue on the wound, the flesh that knits itself together, the muscles that keep moving when all strength seems gone. The Druid is the healer, the survivor, the living aspect of nature.

This is my ranger Fangleif in his druid outfit, with his pet Fern Hound, Fidosynthesis. I wanted something robe-y or wizard-y for this look, but there's not much in the medium set in that vein. I was surprised at how well the Magitech Jerkin fit with the Subterfuge Hood. I think the collar adds bulk and helps it look kind of large and loose. The Druid's Shoulderguards and Strider's Armguards fit with their wood and bark parts, and the pants and boots were chosen because the fit the rest of the look nicely. I wanted to avoid using all greens and browns that I see many people use for druids, so I picked some natural leather colors and added dark blues to match the Celestial Avatar theme.

My staff is Yggdrasil, but I can't add it to equipment, for some reason.

I like the armor mix a lot but the dyes not so much.
